Process Improvement Manager (Public Sector)

Location: Remote within the United States; U.S. citizenship required

What you will do

• Lead process improvement initiatives by analyzing current operations, identifying gaps, and designing future-state workflows.
• Facilitate collaboration among program managers, analysts, IT teams, and field staff to develop scalable solutions.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and related methodologies to improve efficiency, service delivery, and compliance.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures, process maps, and performance dashboards.
• Support change management through stakeholder communication, training, and adoption of new practices.
• Monitor KPIs and data analytics while mentoring teams on process improvement tools and techniques.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in process improvement, operations management, or organizational development.
• Experience leading cross-functional improvement projects in large or complex organizations.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and complex systems analysis.
• Experience working in or with federal agencies or similar mission-driven environments.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma certification at Green Belt level or higher.
• Experience with Visio, Lucidchart, ARIS, or similar process modeling tools.
• Experience supporting public-sector digital transformation or modernization initiatives.
