Senior Applied AI Engineer (iOS)

What you will do

• Lead the transition of iOS release workflows to GitHub Actions and align mobile deployments with frontend and backend release chains.
• Define scalable iOS architecture and standards using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
• Establish guidelines for API and ABI stability, framework distribution, security, and accessibility.
• Integrate AI coding assistants, automated tooling, and custom prompt workflows into mobile development.
• Collaborate with pilot teams and Engineering Ops leads to mentor engineers and support adoption across approximately 600 R&D engineers.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Swift concurrency with async/await, and modular dependency management.
• Experience with Swift Package Manager or CocoaPods and designing stable framework APIs and ABIs.
• Experience configuring CI/CD automation with GitHub Actions or Xcode Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of unit testing, UI testing, and testable software design.
• Hands-on experience with LLM workflows, prompt optimization, and AI tooling for mobile delivery.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and collaborate across multiple engineering teams.
