Part-Time Legal Contracts Assistant (Short-Term)

Location: In-person at the hirify.global office in Eagan, Minnesota, United States

Salary: $20.00–$30.00 per hour; part-time and temporary, 20–29 hours per week

What you will do

• Review customer contracts and amendments to identify specified terms and obligations.
• Extract contractual terms and supporting information using established guidance and definitions.
• Enter contract data accurately into Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, and other required systems.
• Validate entries against source contracts and correct incomplete, inconsistent, or inaccurate data.
• Escalate ambiguous, missing, or conflicting contract language to the Legal & Compliance team.
• Maintain organized records, follow confidentiality and information-security requirements, and provide work-status updates.

Requirements

• JD in progress and in good academic standing at an accredited law school, preferably in the second year or later.
• Interest in corporate, commercial, business, transactional, or technology law.
• Strong contract-reading, legal-comprehension, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to review a high volume of documents while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Salesforce or other CRM experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in the office in Eagan, Minnesota and handle confidential information with discretion.
