Sr. Manager, Accounting

Location: Remote within the United States; compensation is based on U.S. work locations across Zones A–C. Hires are not currently budgeted for Zone D markets.

Base salary: $147,940–$198,984 per year

What you will do

• Oversee monthly allocations, software capitalization, monthly close reviews, trial balance, financial statements, and adjusting entries.
• Manage equity accounting, 409A valuations, stock-based compensation, deferred fulfillment, intangible assets, goodwill, leases, fixed assets, and technical accounting memos.
• Manage intercompany transactions and eliminations across the parent company and subsidiaries.
• Lead accounting system transitions and process integration for acquired entities and future M&A activity.
• Partner with FP&A, Tax, Legal, IT Systems, and Engineering on reporting, tax data, audits, disclosures, and process improvements.
• Serve as the Workday system expert and AI champion while building and developing a high-performing accounting team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a management role.
• Strong technical accounting experience with complex transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and public-company environments.
• Experience preparing for or participating in an IPO.
• Experience with Workday, Looker, Microsoft Suite, GSuite, or another large ERP.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, leadership, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Big 4 accounting experience.
• CPA certification.
