Location: New York, NY, United States; hybrid schedule with work from the New York office at least four days per week

Salary: $150,000–$185,000 yearly, plus bonus and long-term incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Provide practical legal advice on advertising campaigns and assess risks for senior executives.
• Review creative content for regulatory compliance, intellectual property clearance, and guild considerations.
• Draft and negotiate advertiser agreements, including brand integration, custom content, and sponsorship agreements.
• Draft and negotiate talent and influencer agreements.
• Support live events, experiential activations, team initiatives, and cross-functional legal projects.
• Monitor advertising-related legal and regulatory developments and create internal training resources.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited institution.
• Member of the New York State Bar or eligible to register as in-house counsel in New York.
• 4+ years of relevant experience at a law firm and/or in-house legal department.
• Ability to draft and negotiate commercial contracts.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, sound judgment, and ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage multiple matters under tight deadlines with a flexible and proactive approach.

• Experience in advertising, marketing, media, or entertainment law.
