Principal Product Manager, SD-WAN and SASE

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States of America; most teams work from the office full time

Salary: $176,800–$286,000 per year

What you will do

• Define and execute the roadmap for SD-WAN and enterprise branch networking capabilities, including BGP, OSPF, path monitoring, traffic steering, switching, and Wi-Fi.
• Design workflows for deploying, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting branch environments at scale.
• Partner with Engineering to deliver RESTful APIs, automation capabilities, and developer-ready network configuration interfaces.
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to simplify routing tables, topology views, configuration workflows, dashboards, and network health data.
• Identify practical applications of AI and machine learning for root-cause analysis, anomaly detection, guided troubleshooting, and operational automation.
• Lead cross-functional execution and customer engagements while incorporating observability, telemetry, supportability, and troubleshooting into product launches.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, technical product leadership, or closely related enterprise networking roles.
• Deep knowledge of SD-WAN, enterprise networking, BGP, OSPF, path selection, traffic steering, and routing policy.
• Experience with Branch LAN technologies, including switching, Wi-Fi, and local network or security policy.
• Experience with REST APIs, automation frameworks, programmatic network configuration, and operational readiness.
• Strong collaboration, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills across technical and customer-facing organizations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, equivalent practical experience, or equivalent military experience.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Product management experience with enterprise SD-WAN, SASE, routing, switching, Wi-Fi, or network management platforms.
• Experience building products for network administrators, network engineers, or enterprise IT organizations.
• Familiarity with AI/ML applications in networking, observability, or automated troubleshooting.
