Environmental Account Manager (Environmental Testing)

Location: Remote, but candidates must reside in the Detroit, Michigan area or within a one-hour driving distance of Livonia.

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 yearly, plus eligibility for the EHS North America commission plan.

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of environmental testing clients and build long-term customer relationships.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Central Detroit, Michigan, and the Midwest.
• Conduct discovery sessions and align analytical testing solutions with technical and regulatory needs.
• Develop value propositions and proposals for water, soil, air, and specialty testing programs.
• Negotiate pricing, secure contracts, maintain sales forecasts and CRM updates.
• Collaborate with Client Services and Lab Operations and represent hirify.global at industry events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field is required.
• 5+ years of experience in technical sales, project management, or customer service is required.
• Experience in environmental services or analytical testing is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, critical-thinking, and solution-oriented skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage a sales pipeline, and drive results.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
