Delivery Solutions Architect (Public Sector, Defense, DIBS)

Location: United States; U.S. citizenship required. Travel of up to 30% may be required.

Salary: $180,000–$247,500 USD annually, plus potential performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead post-sale technical account strategies and execution plans for strategic public-sector and defense customers.
• Own the progression of Databricks use cases from onboarding and enablement through production, go-live, and healthy consumption.
• Act as the primary technical contact for production and go-live issues across complex customer organizations.
• Coordinate Solutions Architects, Professional Services, Support, User Education, Onboarding, Technical Services, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Develop plans for use-case delivery, user growth, product adoption, cloud cost control, optimization, and executive governance.
• Report customer health, usage, risks, investment status, product adoption, and use-case progression to the Technical GM.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required to access classified information under federal contract and client-site requirements.
• 7+ years of experience delivering technical projects or programs in Data and AI.
• Programming experience with Python, SQL, or Scala.
• Experience in customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting.
• Understanding of distributed data systems, solution architecture, business-value attribution, and technical program or project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience resolving complex escalations with senior customer executives.
• Experience with discovery workshops, strategic roadmaps, business analysis, and complex program delivery.
• Track record of exceeding quota, goals, or comparable performance targets.
