Resident Solutions Architect (dbt)

Location: Remote within the United States; approximately 10% travel for customer visits, company retreats, and offsites.

Salary: $179,982–$192,000 USD

What you will do

• Deliver customer technical projects, including dbt Platform implementation, configuration troubleshooting, best-practice adoption, and solution design.
• Consult with enterprise customers on architecture and technical design.
• Drive adoption of the dbt Platform among strategic customers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solution Architects, Training, and Support teams.
• Provide customer feedback to product and engineering teams to improve the platform and resolve engagement-specific issues.
• Build deep product expertise in dbt and the modern data stack.

Requirements

• Must be physically located in the United States.
• Deep experience working with enterprise customers in a customer-facing post-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role.
• Deep expertise in at least one data platform: Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• At least 2 years of experience with dbt, ideally including 1 year with dbt Platform.
• Proficiency in SQL and some experience with Python.
• Strong organization, technical project delivery, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to have

• dbt Analytics Engineering Certification.
• Experience advising on dbt Platform recommendations and building customer consensus.
• Experience with Informatica, Datastage, or Talend.
