Engineering Project Lead (Aerospace): Leading engineering projects that deliver aircraft design and certification documentation on time, on cost, and on quality with an accent on airframe structures, project budgets, resource planning, and technical coordination. Focus on facilitating design reviews, analyzing KPIs, aligning internal and external teams, and supporting aircraft program milestones.
Location: Wichita, Kansas, United States; onsite 90%. The position requires authorization to work in the US and occasional independent travel at short notice.

Commercial Aircraft develops and supports highly engineered aircraft and provides aerostructure design, analysis, manufacturing, and customer support across the aircraft life cycle.
What you will do
- Lead engineering projects supporting the on-time, on-cost, and on-quality delivery of aircraft design and certification documentation.
- Develop resource plans, project budgets, workload targets, and annual operating plan alignment.
- Coordinate commitments and project execution across local, global, internal, and external engineering teams.
- Facilitate design reviews with Chief Engineering and Technical Representatives to support program milestones.
- Develop, report, and analyze KPIs for internal and external customers.
- Communicate project performance, travel requirements, subcontracting, and required courses of action to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Aero, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering, with emphasis on structural design, analysis, and mechanics of materials.
- At least 13 years of engineering experience involving airframe structures and/or system installation projects.
- In-depth knowledge of engineering technical principles, documentation, techniques, and procedures.
- Working knowledge of structures.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
- Current authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available for this US position.
