Global Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager (Manufacturing): Developing and governing global EHS programs across manufacturing operations in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC with an accent on regulatory compliance, risk management, and proactive safety culture. Focus on improving EHS management systems, leading audits and incident investigations, integrating machine and functional safety into operations, and using performance data to prioritize global risks.
Location: Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. International travel is required as needed.

What you will do
- Own and provide subject-matter expertise for global EHS programs covering machine and functional safety, HOP, SIF prevention, ergonomics, chemical management, and life safety.
- Develop, implement, and improve global EHS standards, policies, and management systems aligned with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
- Strengthen regulatory compliance processes and lead improvements to the EHS Management System in line with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Partner with engineering, operations, supply chain, and business leadership to integrate EHS into equipment design, operational processes, capital projects, and business planning.
- Lead or support audits, incident investigations, root cause analyses, compliance assessments, and corrective and preventive actions.
- Analyze global EHS metrics, monitor emerging regulations and risks, and drive capability, leadership, and employee engagement across regions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 10 years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, including 5 years leading programs across multiple sites or regions.
- Experience implementing and continuously improving EHS management systems.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, global EHS regulations, functional and machine safety, risk assessment, and safeguarding principles.
- Experience with environmental compliance programs covering air emissions, water, wastewater, and waste management.
- Fluency in English and willingness and ability to travel internationally are required.
Nice to have
- CIH, CSP, or equivalent professional certification.
- Experience in a complex global manufacturing organization.
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or integration of manufacturing facilities.
- Knowledge of sustainability, environmental reporting, and ESG initiatives.
- Proficiency in additional languages.
