Behavioral Health Counselor-Inpatient Part-time 6pm to 630am

Location: Doty Rd, Woodstock, Illinois 60098, USA. Onsite inpatient role with 12-hour shifts from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., 24 hours per week, and an every-other-weekend rotation.

Salary: $27.29–$35.48 per hour

What you will do

• Screen and evaluate service requests and collect social histories for assigned cases.
• Assess patient and family needs, strengths, goals, and available resources.
• Intervene in, stabilize, and manage acute crisis situations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans with an interdisciplinary team.
• Provide supportive counseling, case management, advocacy, outreach, skills training, and community support.
• Coordinate referrals, agency relationships, treatment planning, and discharge planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Health.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license, current auto liability insurance, and annual driving abstract required at hire and annually.
• CPR and Basic Life Support certification.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work the specified 12-hour overnight schedule and weekend rotation.
