Software Engineer - Full Stack/C#

Location: Pullman, Washington, United States; onsite

Salary: $89,400–$134,100 annually for the Software Engineer level. Associate Software Engineer range: $81,300–$122,000 annually.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and test firmware and software systems.
• Develop solutions involving embedded systems, graphical user interfaces, and embedded Linux.
• Analyze hardware-software interactions and collaborate with Hardware Engineers.
• Prepare and maintain design and test documentation.
• Mentor Associate Engineers and Technicians.
• Apply SEL operating and manufacturing principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
• Typically 2+ years of experience in embedded firmware, Windows GUI applications, or embedded Linux development.
• Experience with relevant technologies such as C, C++, C#, assembly, Python, Java, Delphi, or scripting languages.
• Knowledge of real-time firmware design, object-oriented design, or embedded Linux systems.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Ability to learn new skills, take on responsibilities, and work cooperatively in a team.

Nice to have

• Industrial controls and three-phase electric power systems experience.
• Modern communications protocols, digital and analog circuitry, digital communications, or signal processing knowledge.
• Project management experience.
