Salary: $60,000–$75,000 annually.

What you will do
- Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair electro-mechanical medical equipment.
- Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage an assigned service territory, scheduling service calls, preventive maintenance, and travel to meet SLAs.
- Maintain service documentation, equipment records, inventory transactions, parts orders, and test-equipment calibration.
- Train customer personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, and inspection procedures.
- Communicate with customers, support installation projects and field actions, and mentor other service technicians.
Requirements
- Experience in biomedical engineering, including installation, maintenance, and repair of medical devices.
- Associate’s degree or higher in biomedical engineering, electrical/electronic engineering, computer science, or a related technical field; alternatively, relevant experience, BMET certification, or qualifying US military training.
- Three or more years of electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience where applicable; previous field service experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently, diagnose complex equipment problems, and follow safety and regulatory standards.
- Valid driver’s license, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work in healthcare environments with PPE and meet physical requirements, including regularly lifting up to 50 lbs.
