Electrical Engineering Technician 3 (Medical Devices)

Annual base salary: $58,100–$87,200, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Perform PCB rework, board bring-up, basic PCB debugging, soldering, and cable or harness assembly.
• Build and modify electro-mechanical prototypes, test fixtures, benches, and prototype test boards.
• Operate electrical laboratory equipment, including oscilloscopes, bench power supplies, DMMs, LCR meters, and logic analyzers.
• Execute verification and characterization tests, collect traceable data, and maintain technical documentation.
• Support failure investigations, root-cause activities, and improvements to test methods and procedures.
• Coordinate lab materials, test samples, inventory, and a safe, organized, quality-compliant laboratory environment.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, or a related field; equivalent hands-on experience may be considered.
• 3+ years of hands-on electronics laboratory technician experience, preferably in R&D, medical devices, or regulated product development.
• Strong soldering and rework skills for through-hole, fine-pitch SMT, connectors, and cable terminations.
• Experience with PCB-level troubleshooting, schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, custom cables, and electro-mechanical test assemblies.
• Ability to execute test procedures, capture data, produce technical documentation, and support multiple programs in parallel.
• Ability to travel as necessary, up to 10%.
