Health Center Manager Nurse Practitioner

What you will do

• Manage daily health center operations, staffing, workflows, patient flow, utilization, and performance.
• Oversee hiring, training, onboarding, and performance management for RNs, LPNs, administrative staff, and technical staff.
• Provide patient care and clinical expertise as needed.
• Lead infection control activities, support quality initiatives, and maintain compliance with applicable regulations.
• Identify workflow improvements, perform root cause analysis, and support incident investigations and complaint resolution.
• Maintain accurate patient health records and communicate policies with staff and client representatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Current Nurse Practitioner license in the practicing state.
• Current hands-on AHA or ARC Basic Life Support certification for healthcare providers.
• At least 3 years of medical field experience and 2–3 years of management experience.
• Experience using CDC, WHO, APIC, or other industry standards for infection prevention.
• Strong computer, communication, problem-solving, and workflow management skills; electronic medical records experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• Occupational Health certification such as COHN or COHN-S, where required by the site.
• Healthcare and staff training experience.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records.
