Salary: $82,039.23–$112,803.95 per year

What you will do

• Assist with designing, implementing, and maintaining secure IT systems and networks.
• Monitor and tune security systems to identify and mitigate potential threats.
• Participate in incident response, digital forensics, loss prevention, and breach damage assessment.
• Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments and develop security controls and protocols.
• Research security tools and technologies and help create security policies and procedures.
• Participate in an on-call incident response rotation and occasional travel.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in systems security, network engineering, information technology, or a related engineering discipline, or four years of related experience as a substitute.
• 0–2 years of experience in IT security or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, and related security frameworks and standards.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance are required.
• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Nice to have

• ISSO Security+, CISA, CASP+, MCSE, Linux, or CCNP Security certification.
• Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
• Experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
