What you will do

• Conduct exhaustive ransomware preparedness assessments across enterprise platforms and core infrastructure.
• Evaluate environment architectures against NIST CSF, NIST 800-61, and CIS Controls.
• Execute end-to-end recovery testing, including complex infrastructure dependency mapping and data validation.
• Lead technical exercises, backup simulations, and tabletop crisis scenarios with incident response teams.
• Develop technical risk heat maps and maintain live executive dashboards.
• Author advanced technical documentation and training curricula for operations and support teams.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in systems engineering or disaster recovery engineering for enterprise-scale recovery.
• Extensive knowledge of backup/recovery topologies, secure immutable storage, and isolated recovery environments.
• Proficiency in implementing NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-61, and CIS Critical Security Controls.
• Proven capability in cross-platform infrastructure dependency mapping and system performance analysis.
• Expert-level technical writing and executive-level presentation skills.
• Location: Must be based in Oakland, CA
