Technical Program Manager (Data & AI Platform)

Location: Arlington, Virginia; remote candidates may be considered if residing in a U.S. state where hirify.global or one of its subsidiaries has an established physical presence.

Salary: $120,400–$193,200 annually, plus eligibility for up to 10% annual incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Own the integrated delivery plan across data architecture, platform engineering, governed data products, MDM, ontology, semantic layers, governance, ML/MLOps, and GenAI workstreams.
• Manage end-to-end readiness for data product delivery waves, from design and source readiness through validation, production release, and legacy decommissioning.
• Run delivery ceremonies, backlog alignment, RAID management, executive reporting, milestone gates, and critical-path dependency management.
• Manage consulting partners, statements of work, deliverable acceptance, change control, vendor validation, and invoice evidence.
• Track budgets, forecasts, capacity, contractual commitments, and milestone-based commercial approvals.
• Coordinate architecture, security, governance, procurement, finance, operations, engineering, and business stakeholders to drive decisions and closure.

Requirements

• 10+ years delivering complex technology programs and 5+ years leading enterprise data or platform transformation programs with multiple concurrent technical teams.
• Experience delivering client-facing consulting or professional services programs under fixed budgets, tight timelines, and contractual milestone commitments.
• Strong Scrum, Kanban, and scaled or hybrid agile delivery experience, including ceremonies, backlogs, and multi-team execution.
• Modern cloud data platform experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks, plus familiarity with ELT, orchestration, catalogs, lineage, BI or semantic layers, and legacy workflow migration.
• Working knowledge of ML lifecycles, MLOps, GenAI/LLM architectures, retrieval, agents, and model risk considerations.
• Experience with multi-vendor delivery, offshore or nearshore teams, SOWs, rate cards, NTE budgets, forecasting, and executive communication.

Nice to have

• Financial services, lending, banking, fintech, or other regulated-industry experience.
• Experience with data mesh, data products, data contracts, certified metrics, and regulated data governance.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, A-CSM, SAFe, Snowflake, Databricks, or cloud certifications.
• Experience establishing program governance, delivery gates, RAID discipline, evidence standards, and vendor validation streams.
