Enterprise Cybersecurity Senior Advisor (AI Strategy)

Location: Hybrid role based primarily in Rosemead, California; employees are generally required to work and reside in California. The role requires up to 25% travel throughout the SCE service territory.

What you will do

• Own and continuously refine the multi-year cybersecurity AI strategy, priorities, principles, roadmap, and measurable outcomes.
• Define security requirements, reference patterns, guardrails, and controls for AI platforms, data, models, and third-party services.
• Assess emerging AI technologies, cyber threats, regulations, and industry practices to identify risks and recommendations.
• Lead architecture reviews, technology selection, investment planning, and cybersecurity participation in enterprise AI strategy.
• Partner with IT, data, privacy, legal, compliance, risk, procurement, operations, and business teams across the AI lifecycle.
• Provide executive briefings, dashboards, governance updates, mentoring, and guidance on responsible AI adoption.

Requirements

• US citizenship required.
• Ten or more years of experience in information technology, information security, and/or cybersecurity.
• Experience with enterprise architecture, AI strategy, security strategy, technical roadmaps, or related technology strategy functions.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, governance, risk management, architecture practices, and security controls.
• Experience with AI security concepts including model, prompt, and data security; AI threat modeling; adversarial testing; privacy; monitoring; and human oversight.
• Relevant experience in utility, critical infrastructure, operational technology, regulated, or large enterprise environments is preferred.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, cybersecurity, data science, or a related discipline.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, GSEC, cloud security, AI/ML security, or architecture certifications.
• Familiarity with NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, MITRE ATLAS, Zero Trust, SABSA, TOGAF, and IEC 62443.
