Director, Global IT

Location: Hybrid role based at an hirify.global site in Santa Clara or Folsom, California, United States

Annual salary: $198,050–$279,600 USD

What you will do

• Lead large-scale technology projects and programs aligned with business objectives, timelines, and resource plans.
• Develop project plans covering scope, schedules, budgets, dependencies, and risk mitigation.
• Manage implementation activities including testing, documentation, training, and change control.
• Coordinate across teams to remove roadblocks and address delivery constraints.
• Establish program governance, track milestones and health metrics, and provide executive-level reporting.
• Conduct project closeouts and document lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 15+ years of relevant IT experience.
• 5+ years of experience delivering large transformation programs.
• 5+ years of experience managing complex programs with multiple interdependencies and global scope.
• Strong analytical, communication, governance, and risk-management skills across technical and executive stakeholders.
• Experience in large-scale IT or technology organizations and matrixed environments.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience developing business cases, managing ROI-driven initiatives, and tracking data-driven execution.
• Experience delivering measurable outcomes in service reliability, cost optimization, or operational efficiency.
• Experience influencing senior leaders and driving organizational alignment.
