Associate Buyer

Salary: $22.60–$28.36 per hour

What you will do

• Manage assigned vendor and distributor product lines and review promotions.
• Negotiate competitive pricing and determine the best sources of supply.
• Investigate packaging issues, backorders, non-productive SKUs, and other product problems.
• Expedite purchase orders and update estimated arrival dates.
• Create and maintain SKUs, virtual and drop-ship inventory, and price protection claims.
• Coordinate with Sales, Technical Support, Returns, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and other departments.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including email, document creation, and Excel data manipulation.
• Strong communication, time-management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to respond accurately and promptly to internal inquiries.
• Ability to support forecasting, inventory management, vendor relationships, and purchasing activities.
• Ability to work onsite in Merrimack, New Hampshire.
