Associate Director, Network Engineering (AI Networking)

Location: Remote nationwide within the United States; occasional travel to hirify.global offices may be required for training or meetings. A dedicated, interruption-free workspace and reliable internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload are required.

Salary: $142,300–$195,700 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop Data Center Network Engineering and Deployment Engineering teams.
• Set technical roadmaps, engineering standards, deployment methodologies, and automation strategies.
• Lead the design and deployment of enterprise data center networks using Cisco and Arista technologies.
• Establish Infrastructure as Code and automated deployment practices with Terraform, Ansible, Python, Git, and Azure DevOps.
• Enable AI-ready networking platforms for NVIDIA GPU and high-performance computing environments.
• Direct large-scale migrations, consolidations, merger and acquisition integrations, subsidiary onboarding, and cross-functional infrastructure programs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of data center network engineering experience and 5+ years of people leadership experience.
• Experience leading engineering, deployment, or implementation teams and building high-performing technical organizations.
• Expertise with Arista EOS, Cisco Nexus, VXLAN/EVPN, spine-leaf networking, BGP, DCI, and Cisco-to-Arista migrations.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, Ansible, Python, Git, and related frameworks.
• Experience with Azure DevOps deployment pipelines, CI/CD, orchestration, automation, observability, telemetry, and network management platforms.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and organizational leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with NVIDIA AI networking, GPU clusters, RoCE architectures, AI fabrics, or other high-performance computing environments.
• Experience with Equinix, Megaport, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Aruba, or SD-WAN technologies.
• Agile, Scrum, PMI, PMO, PMP, PMI-ACP, CCIE Data Center, Arista ACE, PCNSE, Fortinet NSE, or NVIDIA Networking certifications.
