IT Infrastructure Lead (AI)

Location: Remote in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, or Chile; substantial overlap with U.S. business hours required.

What you will do

• Own network and Wi-Fi standards across vacation homes, hotels, and multi-unit properties.
• Design, review, troubleshoot, and monitor LAN/WAN, wireless, firewall, VLAN, DHCP/DNS, PoE, and related infrastructure.
• Own the reliability of smart locks, access-control systems, gateways, thermostats, sensors, and other connected devices.
• Coordinate with ISPs, managed-network providers, vendors, installers, and local technicians to resolve complex incidents.
• Administer Google Workspace, Okta, SSO/MFA, SaaS access, endpoints, permissions, licenses, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Lead automation, security operations, documentation, and the development of 1–2 junior IT team members.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure, systems engineering, IT engineering, managed services, property technology, or a related field.
• Strong networking fundamentals covering switching, routing, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, NAT, firewalls, PoE, and Wi-Fi.
• Experience supporting networks across multiple physical locations and diagnosing wireless coverage, interference, connectivity, and performance issues.
• Experience with cloud-based corporate IT, identity and access management, SSO, MFA, SaaS administration, and workflow automation.
• Strong practical proficiency with modern AI tools, scripting, APIs, and operational troubleshooting.
• Excellent written and spoken English and the ability to overlap substantially with U.S. business hours.

Nice to have

• Experience with hotels, multifamily properties, managed Wi-Fi, smart buildings, hospitality technology, or other distributed physical environments.
• Experience with Meraki, Ubiquiti, Aruba, Ruckus, Cisco, smart locks, electronic access control, IoT gateways, or low-voltage infrastructure.
• Experience with Google Vault, retention and legal holds, eDiscovery, MDM, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, PowerShell, REST APIs, OAuth, webhooks, or AI coding tools.
