Senior Product Designer

Location: Remote, USA. Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States is required.

Salary: $140,000–$180,000 per year plus equity.

What you will do

• Drive end-to-end UX and UI for desktop and mobile products, from problem framing through build-ready design.
• Partner with product management and engineering to define, design, and build product solutions.
• Present design rationale and tradeoffs to product, engineering, and leadership.
• Build domain fluency through independent research, sharp questions, and direct user exposure, including occasional travel.
• Use and contribute to a shared design system with reusable components and tokens.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product design experience.
• 5+ years of Figma experience with expert knowledge of Auto Layout, components, variants, styles, and reusable design systems.
• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of shipped product work.
• Ability to work autonomously as the only designer in the unit and operate effectively in ambiguous situations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for a remote, asynchronous team.
• Comfort using AI tools in daily work.

Nice to have

• Startup experience and experience establishing or contributing to a shared design system.
• Experience with complex B2B, enterprise, operational, data-dense, mapping/GIS, or command-and-control software.
• Experience designing native mobile applications.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Tailwind, with strong collaboration with engineers.
