Regional Project Manager - Data Centers

Location: Denver, Colorado, primarily working on new-construction data center job sites, with 50–75% travel across the West Region, including California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Washington, Wyoming, and British Columbia.

Salary: $111,000–$188,000 annual base salary in Denver, plus a 15% bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Direct data center projects from initial planning through final warranty and maintenance.
• Develop project plans, staffing strategies, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and billing plans.
• Coordinate the design and installation of commercial HVAC solutions, including chiller installation and commissioning.
• Manage project risks, change orders, regulatory compliance, safety standards, and internal contracting processes.
• Prepare proposals and progress reports, obtain customer sign-off, and transition completed projects to service.
• Build relationships with customers, owners, contractors, subcontractors, trades, and internal teams while resolving project issues.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of related experience combining commercial HVAC work and/or data center experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent additional work experience.
• Experience navigating construction sites and supporting commercial HVAC installation, start-up, and warranty activities.
• New-construction project management experience involving mechanical systems, especially chiller installation and commissioning.
• Availability to work outside normal hours and on weekends when required.
• Availability for 50–75% regional travel and primarily onsite work in the Denver area.

Nice to have

• Experience with data center solutions.
• Knowledge of HVAC designs, applications, and energy-saving solutions.
• Project management certification such as PMP, PMI, or Six Sigma.
