FP&A - Analyst

Location: Hungary, with hybrid working from offices in Budapest or Debrecen. Smart working model: three days together and two days wherever.

Salary: Attractive salary; HUF 600,000 annual cafeteria package, plus performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Prepare and consolidate monthly financial results in line with IFRS and GAAP.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and medium-term financial planning.
• Perform month-end close activities and analyze revenue and cost drivers.
• Provide variance commentary and management reporting for defined contracts, products, or business units.
• Support audits, internal controls, governance, and finance transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with business-unit sub-units and center teams on projects and reporting activities.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant or finance professional with relevant post-qualification experience.
• Experience delivering financial results, including month-end close, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Working knowledge of IFRS or GAAP, group reporting, and multi-entity environments.
• Hands-on experience with forecasting, budgeting, planning, and financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience supporting internal controls, governance, or audits.

Nice to have

• Experience in a large multinational, captive, or shared-service organisation.
• Experience managing relationships with senior-manager-level stakeholders.
• Exposure to regulatory requirements, risk management frameworks, and audit processes.
• Telecommunications product or industry knowledge.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Business Warehouse, Power Pivot, Power Query, or data automation tools.
