Salary: $98,100–$146,000 yearly

What you will do
- Support a 7 a.m.–7 p.m. Monday–Friday Network Operations and Security Center and contribute to incident response and threat hunting.
- Operate Splunk SIEM and coordinate vulnerability assessments, security alert monitoring, and artifact collection across servers and network devices.
- Analyze cloud and on-premises network traffic, system logs, configurations, and security events to identify intrusions, vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and hardware issues.
- Evaluate network structures and device configurations, recommend security improvements, and enhance SOC and NOC response processes.
- Collaborate with NOC analysts, multiple work centers, and program management on troubleshooting, prioritization, milestone tracking, and SOC maturity efforts.
- Reconstruct attacks, integrate threat intelligence, and support operations across multiple classification levels.
Requirements
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
- Full-time onsite work at the posted Virginia location is required at least 5 days per week; relocation is not offered.
- At least 10 years of combined work history and education, including a bachelor's degree plus 6 years or an equivalent combination.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technology field.
- At least 5 years of security operations experience, including leadership in customer-facing roles.
- DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 qualification and IAT II qualified certifications.
Nice to have
- Certified Ethical Hacker, GIAC Certified Incident Handler, or relevant DoDM 8140.03 AIM/AIT III certification.
