What you will do

• Manage cybersecurity incidents through all stages, including identification, containment, and eradication.
• Perform deep-dive analysis on systems and networks to identify root causes and incident impact.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting to identify and mitigate potential threats.
• Develop and refine detection rules, incident response playbooks, and runbooks.
• Mentor and train junior analysts in advanced incident response techniques and procedures.
• Implement process automation to streamline incident response workflows and improve efficiency.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent professional experience).
• Must be a U.S. applicant.
• Proven expertise in incident response, threat hunting, malware analysis, or security engineering.
• 3+ years of Security Operations Center (SOC) work experience.
• Strong grasp of TCP/IP, packet analysis, routing, and network security.
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, AV, WAF, IDS, and EDR.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications: CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, GCED, GCFA, or CySA+.
• Advanced degree (Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD).
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies and related security best practices.
