Cyber Incident Management Analyst - 2nd Shift

Location: Onsite in Arlington, Virginia, United States; second-shift work may be assigned.

Salary: $99,000–$206,000 annually.

What you will do

• Perform Computer Network Defense incident triage, determining scope, urgency, and potential impact.
• Investigate cyber incidents, correlate incident data, analyze network alerts and log data, and identify likely causes and infection vectors.
• Research resolution steps and workarounds, develop mitigation plans, and support restoration of affected services.
• Monitor threat information and assess how emerging security issues may affect the enterprise.
• Track and document incidents from initial detection through final resolution while coordinating with internal teams and external entities.
• During assigned shifts, research indicators of compromise and escalate incidents to specialized analysts.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required; ability to obtain DHS Suitability required.
• At least 5 years of directly relevant experience in cyber incident management or cybersecurity operations.
• Knowledge of incident response, incident handling, Computer Network Defense, NIST 800-62, and FISMA incident reporting standards.
• Ability to prioritize incidents, investigate phishing tactics, identify reporting gaps, and recognize vulnerabilities and associated attacks.
• Bachelor’s degree in incident management, operations management, cybersecurity, or a related field; alternatively, a high school diploma with 7–9 years of incident management or cybersecurity experience.

Nice to have

• GCIH, GCFA, GISP, GCED, CCFP, or CISSP certification.
• Knowledge of operational threat environments and system and application attack methods.
