Sr Medical Science Liaison - Obesity - UT/NV

Location: US — Utah and Nevada territory; field-based role

Salary: $172,344.30–$233,171.70 annual base salary

What you will do

• Serve as the primary scientific and clinical resource for opinion leaders, healthcare providers, and population health decision makers.
• Conduct peer-to-peer scientific exchange on obesity and related conditions using accurate, balanced, and compliant clinical information.
• Engage clinical investigators and research sites in support of the obesity pipeline, sponsored research, and non-sponsored clinical research.
• Communicate clinical, outcomes, and economic data across assigned institutions and integrated delivery networks.
• Provide field insights to internal stakeholders, support congress activities and speaker training, and participate in MSL strategy projects.
• Build external relationships, maintain scientific expertise, complete required training and administration, and mentor other MSLs.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of Medical Affairs experience, or master’s degree and 6 years of Medical Affairs experience, or bachelor’s degree and 8 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Experience in a medically related field, including clinical practice, clinical research, medical research, post-doctoral training, residency, or fellowship experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in an MSL role at a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company, or current Scientific Affairs or Medical Affairs experience in the industry.
• Ability to build strong relationships and communicate scientific data effectively with external and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work in the assigned Utah and Nevada field territory.

Nice to have

• Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., D.O., or another doctoral degree.
• Seven or more years of experience in a medically related field, including at least one year focused on clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research.
• Cardiometabolic or obesity expertise.
• Experience with a designated territory.
