Location: 251 E. Huron, Chicago, IL, United States; on-site night shift

Salary: $24.26 per hour

What you will do

• Support registered nurses with direct and indirect care for adult and neonatal patients.
• Record vital signs, intake and output, blood glucose, EKGs, cardiac monitoring, and oximetry results.
• Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, catheter and heplock discontinuation, enemas, and basic wound care.
• Provide newborn, post-operative, mobility, hygiene, feeding, comfort, and safety care.
• Transport patients, equipment, and supplies; respond to emergencies and initiate basic life support.
• Maintain room readiness, equipment, supplies, documentation, quality checks, and a clean environment.

Requirements

• CNA certification or current enrollment in a school of nursing with completed basic clinical rotations.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association, BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• High school diploma required.
• Unit-based recognition for capillary blood glucose monitoring.
• Ability to work night shifts and provide patient care under registered nurse supervision.
• Previous healthcare experience and an associate or bachelor's degree are preferred.
