Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid with at least 3 days in the office

What you will do

• Own a product area within hirify.global Direct’s Currencycloud product, from discovery and strategy through launch and iteration.
• Research markets, customers, competitors, and technology to shape product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and prioritised backlogs.
• Lead customer discovery to identify unmet needs, test ideas, and understand payment flows, banking processes, and operational systems end to end.
• Define detailed functional and non-functional requirements and partner with engineering and delivery teams across one or more Scrum teams.
• Prioritise initiatives based on customer, commercial, and strategic value while communicating context and trade-offs.
• Work with Product Marketing and go-to-market teams to launch features, drive adoption, and measure product performance.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably in a software-first fintech or technology start-up.
• Experience owning a product area or major initiative from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Track record of shipping products and demonstrating measurable impact on customer and business metrics.
• Strong prioritisation skills, including backlog management and making trade-offs.
• Experience with agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban and working across one or two teams.
• Experience using customer discovery, market research, and data analysis to define product vision; fintech knowledge in payments, FX, transaction banking, or trading is preferred.
