Wellness Nurse (LPN) FT 11pm-7am

Location: Southbury, Connecticut, USA; onsite overnight work from 11pm to 7am

Salary: USD 34–36 per hour

What you will do

• Provide direct nursing care to residents with an emphasis on holistic wellness.
• Supervise certified nursing assistants and daily care activities in accordance with regulations and community policies.
• Monitor residents’ health, safety, and well-being.
• Assist with training and monitoring medication administration.
• Maintain clinical quality assurance and compliance with federal, state, and local standards.
• Attend scheduled in-service training and support the community’s service mission.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current LPN license.
• At least two years of experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health, or a hospital setting preferred.
• Experience working with residents with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, methods, and applicable federal and state regulations.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, Windows, Outlook, and Excel.
• Ability to perform physical duties including standing, walking, lifting, and supporting residents weighing up to 50 pounds.
