Registered Nurse-Emergency Services Full Time Evenings

Location: 1000 N. Westmoreland, Lake Forest, Illinois, United States. Full-time evening shift.

Salary: USD 37–59.20 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform comprehensive assessments, identify nursing diagnoses, create measurable care plans, and evaluate patient responses.
• Coordinate care with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, including discharge planning and referrals.
• Educate patients and families about medications, clinical conditions, patient portals, and available resources.
• Administer medications safely, complete clinical documentation, monitor patient conditions, and communicate changes during handoffs.
• Lead or support patient care technicians, precept new staff and students, and coordinate unit-level care when assigned.
• Participate in quality improvement, evidence-based practice, safety initiatives, and prevention of falls, pressure ulcers, CAUTIs, and central line infections.

Requirements

• Registered Nursing license issued by the State of Illinois.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
• Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments, clinical documentation, care coordination, patient education, and safe medication administration.
• Ability to comply with the Illinois Nurse Practice Act, organizational policies, and applicable healthcare regulations.
