Packer Operator – Day Shift (Food Manufacturing)

Location: Chilliwack, Canada; onsite production role

Wage: CAD 23.41 per hour

What you will do

• Support production packing operations and help reduce downtime while meeting daily production targets.
• Follow and enforce GMP, QA, HACCP, food safety, SQF 2000, and workplace safety requirements.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and determine when maintenance support is required.
• Assist with SOP and standard work documentation, training, and adherence monitoring.
• Participate in toolbox meetings and support communication between production staff, supervisors, and other departments.
• Recommend process, safety, quality, and cost-saving improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in food manufacturing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs continuously and stand for at least eight hours.
• Experience with industrial equipment and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Basic math, analytical, organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Flexible availability for overtime, strong attendance, safety awareness, and proficiency with MS Office and internet applications.
