Information Systems Security Manager (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $135,000–$231,000 per year

What you will do

• Implement and manage the security program for classified information systems at the San Diego facility.
• Maintain RMF authorization packages, ATOs, security plans, and artifacts in eMASS.
• Lead continuous monitoring, CCI self-assessments, vulnerability scans, STIG compliance, POA&M management, and audit activities.
• Chair the Change Control Board and coordinate security requirements across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and program management.
• Lead ISSOs and Security Administrators through RMF deliverables, schedules, assessments, and incident investigations.
• Support SDLC and DevSecOps practices, security training, insider-threat awareness, and data-transfer controls.

Requirements

• Active Secret U.S. security clearance or higher is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 8 years of IT experience, including 5 or more years as an ISSM or equivalent in a cleared DCSA-accredited facility.
• Strong knowledge of NISPOM, DCSA DAAG, RMF, NIST 800-53, eMASS, Tenable, SIEM tools, ePO, Windows, Linux, and network security.
• IAM Level 3 certification under DoDI 8140/8570, such as CISSP, CISM, or GSLC.
• Ability to travel up to 10% and coordinate effectively across engineering, cybersecurity, and operational teams.

Nice to have

• Experience securing containerized environments with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar platforms.
• Experience with Ansible, PowerShell, Chef, Salt, Puppet, or comparable automation and configuration-management tools.
• Familiarity with PDQ Deploy or similar software deployment and systems-management tools.
• Experience independently managing multiple priorities in fast-paced or mission-critical environments.
