Investor Relations Analyst (Automotive)

Location: El Segundo, California, United States

Annual salary: $80,000–$90,000, plus benefits and incentive plans.

What you will do

• Support retail investor communications, inquiries, Q&A, community engagement, and investor-facing initiatives.
• Monitor investor discussions, market sentiment, shareholder concerns, misinformation, company news, peer activity, and social media trends.
• Prepare FAQs, investor updates, talking points, website content, earnings materials, press releases, presentations, and shareholder communications.
• Develop and maintain financing trackers, investor databases, post-closing trackers, capital structure and dilution models, dashboards, and engagement logs.
• Support investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, webinars, shareholder events, online Q&A sessions, and investor meeting preparation.
• Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Communications, Marketing, Finance, and Capital Markets teams to maintain accurate and compliant public-company messaging.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Experience in investor relations, capital markets, financial communications, corporate communications, equity research, finance, public relations, FP&A, strategic finance, treasury, or related areas.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, stock-market dynamics, public-company disclosure, investor communications, financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and cash-flow analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication, research, attention-to-detail, judgment, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; ability to work with sensitive information and manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines.
• Comfort attending professional events, communicating with external contacts, coordinating follow-ups, and representing the company professionally.

Nice to have

• Experience with financing transactions such as equity financing, convertible notes, warrants, registered offerings, or private placements.
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, NetSuite, Tagetik, BlackLine, or other financial systems.
• Experience with liquidity planning, cash runway analysis, working capital management, treasury operations, or management reporting systems.
• Familiarity with electric vehicles, AI, robotics, technology industries, or public-company communications.
• Bilingual English and Chinese communication ability.
