Maintenance Technician (Automotive)

What you will do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on printers, laminators, industrial cut tables, workstations, and material handling equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control-system issues using technical documentation, diagrams, precision instruments, and diagnostic methods.
• Install, align, upgrade, and update machinery and equipment while minimizing disruption to production.
• Perform root cause analysis for mechanical failures, throughput losses, and quality issues, and drive corrective actions.
• Create maintenance procedures, job plans, safety documents, training materials, and daily work plans in collaboration with operations, safety, facilities, vendors, and maintenance teams.
• Maintain critical spare-parts inventory, support 5S and housekeeping, and ensure compliance with mechanical safety standards, guarding, interlocks, and safety devices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of electrical, mechanical, and/or HVAC experience in critical infrastructure, or equivalent technical school certification with 1+ years of experience.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems, including motors, drive chains, sprockets, sheaves, pulleys, rollers, conveyor belts, bearings, and screws.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical prints, mechanical drawings, and schematics.
• Competence with hand, diagnostic, and precision measuring tools, along with experience troubleshooting without established procedures.
• Basic proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook, with strong attention to detail and quality.
