Systems Test Engineer (GN&C)

Location: Cape Canaveral/Titusville, Florida, at Space Force Station

Base salary: $75,000–$245,000 per year

What you will do

• Define integration and test approaches for components, subsystems, and complete systems, then execute the approved plans.
• Develop, integrate, test, and validate high-fidelity GN&C systems and complex hardware/software systems.
• Plan verification and validation activities, including test programs, master test plans, and design-of-experiment methodologies.
• Analyze inertial-system and subsystem performance using data analysis methods and analytics tools.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations, communicate risks and concerns to project leadership, and support system design reviews.
• Lead small to medium-sized teams while collaborating with multidisciplinary technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in systems engineering or a relevant role.
• Experience evaluating high-precision inertial systems, including gyroscopes, accelerometers, device physics, error models, and analysis techniques.
• Experience with system integration, system-level testing, requirements traceability, and verification and validation planning.
• Ability to document and communicate technical work, manage competing priorities, and collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Applicants selected for this position must obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with DOORS, Master Test Plans, DVT, qualification testing, ATP, environmental testing, or specialized test cells.
• Experience with strategic weapons, Department of Defense, space, GN&C, or inertial systems.
• Familiarity with LabVIEW, Python, MATLAB, Simulink, digital signal processing, control theory, or mixed-signal hardware systems.
