Specialist Integration & Test Engineer (Defense Tech)

Location: Clifton, New Jersey, United States; onsite role.

Salary: $88,500–$164,500 annually.

What you will do

• Integrate and test digital and RF components at subassembly, box, and system payload levels.
• Troubleshoot engineering development model and flight-unit hardware.
• Support the development and maintenance of test-set hardware and software.
• Create and execute automated test scripts using LabVIEW, Python, C#, and/or MATLAB.
• Author acceptance test procedures, production test plans, and verification documentation.
• Collaborate with systems, software, quality, manufacturing, mechanical, and design engineering teams to deliver integration and test milestones.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related engineering field with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a related graduate degree with at least 3 years of experience.
• Experience with systems integration and testing of complex hardware.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
• Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
• Working knowledge of RF laboratory equipment, schematics, and wirelists is preferred for troubleshooting end-item hardware.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Strong customer-facing communication, organization, and record-keeping skills.
