Field Access Manager (Patient Access/Biopharmaceuticals): Supporting patient access to prescribed treatments for serious and rare diseases with an accent on reimbursement, prior authorization, appeals, and specialty pharmacy processes. Focus on resolving patient-specific access barriers, educating healthcare provider offices, maintaining plan-specific reimbursement criteria, and collaborating across patient support, sales, and market access teams.

Location: Field role covering Miami, Florida and Puerto Rico; candidate must reside in the Miami area. The role can be performed remotely while remaining connected to the hirify.global team and involves frequent domestic travel of up to 75%.

Salary: $155,000–$201,500 annual.

What you will do

  • Resolve patient-specific access barriers to prescribed hirify.global products.
  • Educate healthcare provider office staff on prior authorizations, appeals, forms, submissions, and reauthorization requirements.
  • Identify and resolve patient access and reimbursement issues within the assigned geography.
  • Provide factual reimbursement process information using patient health information with appropriate consent.
  • Serve as the reimbursement expert for patient support services and monitor patient start trends.
  • Collaborate with patient support, field sales, channel management, and market access teams to address emerging access challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of hands-on experience in reimbursement, patient access, market access, specialty pharmacy, or physician/system account management.
  • Experience navigating payer reimbursement processes, preferably Medicare Part D and pharmacy benefit coverage policies.
  • Experience with specialty products obtained through specialty pharmacy networks and with healthcare provider offices.
  • Understanding of patient privacy laws, including HIPAA and similar state laws.
  • Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, listening, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
