Director, Global Healthcare Economics & Reimbursement Strategy

Location: Hybrid at 125 Summer Street in Downtown Boston, Massachusetts, US

Salary: $149,200–$254,000 annually, plus potential bonuses and long-term incentives

What you will do

• Build health-system-specific economic models and ROI frameworks for large-scale value partnership deals, including multi-year agreements with IDNs and government health authorities.
• Design cost-effectiveness, budget impact, total cost of care, and hospital-based economic models.
• Partner with Clinical Research and Medical Affairs on real-world evidence studies and measurable clinical, operational, and economic endpoints.
• Develop payer-facing materials, value narratives, economic tools, executive presentations, and strategic account value cases.
• Equip sales teams to communicate economic value, reimbursement, patient outcomes, and cost-of-care improvements to clinical, finance, supply chain, and executive stakeholders.
• Support reimbursement strategy, coding initiatives, CMS engagement, market insights, and value-based care positioning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree such as an MBA, MPH, or MHA is preferred.
• 10–12+ years of experience in healthcare economics, reimbursement, health policy, market access, or a related field.
• Experience with medical devices, healthcare consulting, or provider systems is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience supporting complex strategic deals with health-economic evidence, ROI tools, multi-year program economics, capital investment justification, and performance modeling.
• Strong understanding of hospital financials, IDN structures, value-based care models, and international healthcare economics.
• Exceptional executive communication, strategic storytelling, analytical rigor, and cross-functional leadership skills.
