Project Financial Analyst

What you will do

• Prepare monthly project cost reports, presentations, and cost expectation updates for management and project stakeholders.
• Support month-end close by preparing project status and accrual reports, charge-outs, and earned-value journal entries in SAP.
• Track and forecast cash flow across monthly, quarterly, annual, and project-life periods, including cause-of-change and forecast-to-actual variance analysis.
• Review and approve contract drafts, purchase requisitions, invoices, and payment applications; investigate vendor payment issues.
• Maintain consistency between PMWeb and SAP, and support vendor bidding, cost comparisons, and award reviews.
• Improve financial reporting processes through automation and support Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or Mathematics preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with forecasting, basic budgeting, analytical thinking, planning, scheduling, and accounting research.
• Clear communication, strong organization, deadline management, and collaboration with project teams.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment with changing teams and deadlines.

Nice to have

• Previous construction experience.
• Experience supervising entry-level Finance positions.
