Intermediate Business Analyst (Payments)

Location: Remote; hiring in Latin America

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements with Product Managers and business stakeholders.
• Translate high-level needs into epics, user stories, and clear acceptance criteria.
• Document and maintain API specifications, integration requirements, data mappings, and validation rules.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and end-to-end workflow diagrams.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure requirements are clear and technically feasible.
• Identify gaps, resolve ambiguities, and drive clarity across stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects.
• Technical understanding of APIs, integrations, backend systems, and data flows.
• Experience documenting API specifications, integration requirements, and data mappings.
• Knowledge of business analysis methodologies and experience with Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Upper-Intermediate+ English level and availability to work as a contractor from Latin America.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the payments domain.
