Senior Salesforce Developer (Salesforce)

Location: Remote; role supports U.S. federal Veterans Benefits Administration programs

Salary: $100,000–$140,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop Salesforce applications and solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and front-end web technologies.
• Refine business requirements and map them to Salesforce capabilities and data solutions.
• Build and lead MuleSoft applications and integrations with internal, external, and back-office systems.
• Develop APIs and participate in the full lifecycle from architecture and design through testing, release, operations, and maintenance.
• Review team solutions and code, troubleshoot user issues, fix bugs, and support Salesforce documentation.
• Contribute to the Salesforce Center of Excellence and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or another technical discipline; additional relevant experience may substitute for education.
• Experience with Salesforce platform development, including Apex, JavaScript, Visualforce, Lightning Components, HTML5, and CSS.
• Demonstrated MuleSoft experience and experience developing REST, SOAP, Bulk, or Streaming APIs.
• Agentforce experience and Salesforce certifications or Trailhead badges.
• Experience delivering software iteratively within Agile and Scrum teams.
• Advanced troubleshooting, problem-solving, testing, and technical communication skills.

Nice to have

• Technical lead experience.
• Salesforce Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I, Lightning Component Framework, Developer, or Admin certifications.
• Experience with Pega, Microsoft Power Platform, ServiceNow, InVision, MavensMate, or Eclipse.
• Experience with federal Salesforce programs or Human Centered Design teams.
• Proficiency in MySQL, Apex, and Visualforce.
