Strategic Finance Associate, GTM (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid role based in the San Francisco Bay Area; candidates must be located in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City.

What you will do

• Support the end-to-end financial planning process for the go-to-market organization.
• Help define six- to twelve-month financial strategy and translate business plans into financial outcomes and leading indicators.
• Build investment business cases with clear assumptions, risk quantification, and analysis of second-order effects.
• Improve planning processes, tooling, and data definitions to reduce rework and increase financial output quality.
• Coordinate cross-functional analyses, resolve forecast disagreements, and create financial narratives for different audiences.
• Partner with budget owners to maintain data quality, metric consistency, and aligned assumptions.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of FP&A or strategic finance experience at a B2B SaaS company.
• Experience designing planning processes and influencing decisions across teams without direct authority.
• Expert financial modeling skills, including SaaS unit economics, driver-based forecasting, three-statement modeling, and scenario or sensitivity analysis.
• Experience supporting go-to-market functions and partnering with senior leaders on budget strategy and investment decisions.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with BI tools, FP&A platforms, and ERP systems.
• BS or BA in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
