Cost Clerk - Dungeness (Highways)

hirify.global is recruiting for a highways project in Dungeness.

What you will do

• Check and pre-approve material and external plant invoices.
• Allocate and code delivery tickets against loaded costs and deliverables.
• Analyse weekly material and plant schedules and evaluate staff and labour costs.
• Prepare monthly reporting materials, cost transfers, and supporting documentation for periodic applications.
• Reconcile cost reporting with financial reporting and support the commercial lead with ad hoc duties and special projects.
• Visit other offices and site locations and liaise with internal departments and external companies as required.

Requirements

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong planning, time management, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a busy and demanding environment.
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team, with clear attention to detail.
