Management Accountant (Retail)

Location: Shirebrook HQ, Meadow Lane, Mansfield, UK; onsite five days per week

What you will do

• Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple group entities.
• Conduct variance analysis and investigate differences between actual, budgeted, and forecast results.
• Present management accounts to the line manager and senior finance stakeholders.
• Own audits for relevant entities and prepare year-end trial balances.
• Post month-end journals and complete intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Produce departmental reporting and support ad hoc financial reporting projects.

Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant with current CIMA, ACCA, or ACA membership.
• At least two years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with accounting systems and finance processes.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with large-scale, complex data.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Ability to work onsite at the Shirebrook HQ five days per week.
