Fullstack Developer (Java/Kotlin)

Location: Remote, based in Portugal. Candidates must hold Portuguese or EU citizenship or a valid work permit.

What you will do

• Build and maintain full-stack applications using Java or Kotlin with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Develop scalable microservices, web services, SOA solutions, and REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Manage APIs with Apigee and implement monitoring and observability with OpenTelemetry, Dynatrace, or similar tools.
• Deploy and operate cloud-native applications on Azure or AWS using Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions.
• Work with MongoDB and MySQL databases and ALM tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, and NexusPro.
• Apply Agile practices, design patterns, CI/CD, DevOps, BDD/TDD, and pair programming to deliver maintainable solutions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of full-stack development experience, including at least 7 years with Java or Kotlin.
• Strong experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Experience with Spring or Micronaut and with microservices, web services, SOA, REST, and GraphQL Federation.
• Experience with Apigee, observability tooling, cloud platforms, containers, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD.
• Experience with MongoDB, MySQL, ALM tools, and Agile engineering practices.
• English proficiency at B2 level and availability for remote work from Portugal are required.
